场馆简介

2004年，本色美术馆落户于中国苏州，于运河畔依水而建，占地面积30亩，拥有超过8000平方米的展览空间。苏州本色美术馆主要致力于“二十一世纪的东方美学”和多种跨界艺术文化的结合发展，涉及东方传统文化、当代艺术、茶道、花道、香道、音乐、绘画、雕塑、装置、行为艺术、摄影、建筑、设计等方面。

本色美术馆外立面由两百多万块斑驳厚重的古城老青砖凹凸拼贴，简雅拙朴，与周边河流、湖泊、民居等自然生态相得益彰，呈现出江南独有的雅韵，是一方返璞归真的文化艺术空间。美术馆在功能上有明确的区域划分，包括大厅、主题展区、本色剧场、艺术家工作室、艺术品商店和办公区。

Since its founding in 2004, Suzhou True Color Art Museum strives to bring 21st century Eastern Arts and Culture to the visitors, and present works across disciplines and media, including traditional culture, contemporary arts, painting, design, music, sculpture, installation and photography, etc. Lying along the grand canal, the Museum covers an area of 20,000 sqm with over 8,000 sqm gallery space.

Located in a tranquil natural setting, the Museum invites visitors to explore its many facets. The two million ancient bricks that cover the facade of the gallery building present the rich cultural heritage of the Yangtze River Delta. The land surrounding the Museum include strolling paths, resting areas, gardens and river. The other facilities include artist's studios, theatre, Museum shop and educational areas, including auditorium and classrooms.

交通信息｜地铁2号线至郭巷站5号口，向北步行约400米，步行5分钟即可到达。地铁7号线至林家潭1号口，向南步行约100米，步行2分钟即到达。本色美术馆东门为唯一入口，停车场也在东门，由于停车位有限，市集期间建议大家绿色出行。
